Lego Star Wars II is pretty much the same as
LSW, though it has a few minor differences. For one thing, you can (at least if you have the
gamecube version) use the characters from
LSW in
LSWII Free Play mode. Also,
LSWII introduces the gold brick, a brick you cannot get during
gameplay but you get from getting things such as True Jedi status in either Free Play or Story Mode. These gold bricks are used to build objects outside and inside the
cantina. Such as an
infinite stud fountain, or a secret level. The more gold studs you have the more you can unlock!
LSWII also brings the custom character. You can save up to two different characters to customise and use in Free Play mode. The more characters you buy/unlock the more parts you can use!
This post is a little short but true. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is a good game but very similar to Lego Star Wars.
